Our Kindergarten classrooms stimulate and encourage children to reach their full potential. We strive to help your child create strong foundations for success at school, and in life beyond school. In our safe, inclusive classrooms, children learn through play in developmentally-appropriate ways!
Kindergarten programs are child-centred, promoting the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of all children. Our responsive teachers and registered early childhood educators work together to create the best environment for students to flourish!
The staff at Waverley are looking forward to having your child join us next year for kindergarten. Below are several links to resources that may be helpful for you, as well as an orientation video that you can watch to learn a little bit about what kindergarten is like at our school and within the school board.
We know that children, particular at this age, develop at different rates. We expect a wide range of children at the start of the year. If you are concerned about the development of your child, we recommend that you seek the advice of your family doctor and/or pediatrician.
Please do let us know by contacting the school if your child has special health or developmental needs so we can best prepare to support their success. Please call the office at 905-623-4323.
